The ever productive VX wielder Al Hodgson comes through with another video for Orwellian World Landscape where the guys ventured on a UK camping trip due to lockdown travel restrictions during this crazy year. They made it work though, witness their South West trip below featuring Al Hodgson, Alfie Williams, Ash Humphrey, Cal Dawson, Dougie George, Harrison Woolgar, Jimmy Silver, Matt Ransom, Phil Russell, Rupert Rose-Antoine, Russ Heideman and Stevie Thompson. Planned for the day after the Brighton premiere of PAVILION, we thought that a week long skate road-trip up through the South-West would be the perfect way to celebrate the video and catch the last of summer out in the countryside.
The plan was fairly simple; to journey along the south coast through Dartmoor, then up to North Devon, Somerset and finally Bristol for a second screening of the video, wild camping and skating a selection of rural or unique spots along the way (kindly pinned for us by friends who knew the areas).
So with an assembled crew of some of Brighton’s finest skate residents and affiliates and a stellar selection of vehicles, cameras, tents and a trusty hatchet, we embarked on our journey. Little did we know it would unexpectedly culminate to a naked one-foot over a motorcycle, now seared into our memories and hearts forever. :’)

Big thanks to everyone on the trip, to Tom Mangham at Workshop Dist for hosting the Bristol premiere, and to Jack Gorham, James Harris & Russ Heideman for the spot pins.
