Mike Nicolls & Tom Pickard have been crafting a truly special video project for us on top of their real life commitments of parenthood and employment. Not only have they put in a ridiculous amount of effort finding some of the least rinsed and unconventional looking spots the UK has to offer, but also making them skateable, which is no light task!
Preconceived Motions ticks the boxes for great spot aesthetics, quality filming, choice trick selection and eminent sounds. No diss to marble plazas, but heavily worn British textures are something else. Combine this with Lizzie Heath adding to her already splendid catalogue of fine visuals by taking charge of the titles and animations and, well, it’s a winner in our eyes from every angle.
