Dave Morgan – Get Well Spoon

From Wakefield to Berlin. Dave Morgan carves out a new part with long time pal Isaac Wilkinson filled with flow and creativity.

“Both Dave Morgan and Isaac Wilkinson moved to Berlin late 2019, shortly before someone made some experimental bat soup in Wuhan and the world stopped. This resulted in the pair starting a ‘fun little lockdown project’, exploring the city’s historic landscape and crusty banks. Unfortunately, however, Dave managed to injure his foot pretty badly and put the project on hold for 2 years, so what initially started as a lockdown part turned into a bit of a saga. ‘Get Well Spoon’ shares its name with a recent solo exhibition Dave had in Berlin, showcasing his hand-carved spoons and sculptures at StudioTrouble, Kreuzberg. A whimsical part with minimal flip-trickery, but a lot of laughs. Let’s make skateboarding less serious again, shall we?”
