Must have food in Japan:

Ramen and Katsu don have for sure been my go-to meals here. Also the sushi trains are super cheap, efficient and crazy good quality.

Must have food in Australia:

Pub meals are the best. Can never go past a fat schnitzel! Also classic Aussie BBQs are a must.

Favorite skater of all time:

I’m such a huge fan of so many skaters but, if I have to pick one, Reynolds would be it! All of his parts are next level and he has a timeless style. He’s still going hard to this day, too.

Favorite video part of all time:

It’s so hard to choose one, but my most watched one would be Andrew Reynolds in Stay Gold. That video came out right at the time I started skating and blew my mind.

Interests outside of skating?

I’ve been playing guitar most of my life and mostly just jam metal riffs haha. Ever since seeing my cousin back in Sweden playing some Metallica riffs I was hooked. I’m a big car nerd too and have been ever since I can remember. I also love to go camping, hiking and recently just started snowboarding here in Japan and have fallen in love straight away. It’s such a sick feeling bombing down a mountain!

Inspirations outside of skating?

One of my biggest inspirations outside of skating would be the Swedish metal band ‘Meshuggah’. They’ve been playing some of the grooviest, heaviest and technical music since the late 80s and with every album they just keep getting better somehow. Super inspiring. Also Formula 1 isn’t specifically my favourite motorsport, but Ayrton Senna is one dude whose achievements and commitment were next level. He was an absolute weapon and put it all on the line doing what he loves. He ended up passing away in a crash whilst leading a race, which shows you he never slowed down. I think anyone could draw inspiration from him.

Any shout outs?

Big love to my parents for always supporting me with all my passions in life, and to my partner Sophie for always having my back and being there for me! Too many friends to mention but you all know who you are! Also Martin Niyo and Casey Foley have helped me out a lot in the past year with getting the part together and shooting photos, couldn’t have done it without you guys. Also Izaac and Tomoko who have been letting Sophie and I stay with them in Japan and have showed us the absolute best time here and have already made the best memories. Love you all!
